yes, i do. i understand alot hate it because it looks like action is stalling and its boring but i feel the same way when a guy is running around a ring or not engaging.
I'd rather watch someone tiptoe doughnuts around the canvas while flicking a jab at someone who can't cut him off for 12x3" rounds than watch two guys flop around in each other's guards dropping hammer fists and trying to buck-and-roll for 3x5". :conf That's just me.
Love it by the pound. More of a fan of submmision wrestling though as opposed to pure BJJ guys rolling. That said BJJ is awesome to watch too.
What fight would you choose to watch IB : GSP vs Nicky Diaz or...let me think............ Ezequiel Maderna vs Jesse Brinkley ????
Honestly, if they ran concurrently I'd choose Maderna vs. Brinkley live and then hope to maybe avoid spoilers for Rush vs. Diaz until catching a replay of it somewhere. If the result got spoiled or I just never got around to seeing it (even if it turned out to be the consensus MMA FOTY) I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I might make a minimal effort tomorrow night to peek at Overeem vs. Lesnar, but only if it doesn't interfere with the RBR I'll be doing for Taylor vs. Nicklow and Dirrell vs. Cunningham...even as unimportant as that doubleheader is. As you can probably tell, boxing takes massive priority for me over mixed martial arts.
Shock, the super 6 is over and he has a new fight lined up. Dirrell is a ****ing **** who doesn't appreciate the fans, doesn't come to fight and ain't winning an oscar any time soon for his acting.
Love it. Maia vs MacDonald George Sotiropoulos vs anyone BJ Penn I went back a while ago and rewatched some of Fitch and GSPs fights back when they actually tried to finish people. They're both brilliant technicians on the ground, it's a shame the way they fight now.
Sometimes its good.. sometimes it sucks. When two guys look like theyre sparring for 15 minutes I could fall asleep too.
Not a word has been said about Fitch fighting tomorrow. Poor guy is getting overshadowed by lightweights who can't be argued as the number 1 contender.
Fitch is a guy I would absolutely love to train with. He's a phenomenal grappler, and it can't be argued that his game isn't effective. I just can't stand watching him.
no, dont like it. if its a bit enterining, punching or jiu juistu than yes, but when it last for 60 seconds with not much happening than **** no
