    Fast?

It's about time Fields fights somebody, I think he's already 32 y old.

Blocus is just decent, C level fighter, but a good step up for now.

Tye actually looks a decent fighter. Shame about the opposition.

Nah, very limited. He has great endurance and great strength, but he can't use both in the same fight (i.e. he throws arm punches when he's throwing 100 punches a round, and he really has to set up his shots to throw hard plus it wears him out). If he had started when he was 20, he might have been something - he has good physical tools - but he just started too late and really doesn't have enough talent to overcome the fact that he doesn't really know how to box. His chin is fairly fragile as well. Notice how he's never faced a puncher, but did get KOed by a bouncer.

I agree. I'd like to see him fight a fringe contender. He's being wasted on clubfighters like Koval.

I don't think OP is being serious.
He even mentions the age of Field's next opponent - 38years.

Nah he is slow and not athletic. His footwork is terrible and along with his loopy punchs and bad defence. Put him in with Wlad!

Tye Fields is moving up too slow. After this fight, he should face somebody like Hasim Rahman in a crossroads fight. That would give us a more accurate picture as to where he stands in the heavyweight division.

Just to clarify ... moving up too fast was a joke ;)

I've actually just realised that it's been a couple of years
at least that I've been thinking ... it'll be interesting when
this guy takes on a fringe contender ... but time and time
again he seems to take on no-one but low level fighters.

When I noticed his latest opponent I just thought, why is
    he doing this ?

Indeed. In terms of stepping up the comp, Fields is as slow and ponderous as he is in the ring.:yep
