Uchiyama is taking his time, making Solis sweat and wait as he saunters out in a black silk robe shadowboxing to some very bass-heavy song.

 

Much more fair than Germany IMO.

Most of its bad rep is from scandals involving the Kameda family. :yep

 

Round 1

Solis pops his left jab and jerks back, keeping his distance. Uchiyama hooks out at him, not really worried about cutting the range yet as Solis is coming to him with his jabs and overhands darting in and out. Uchiyama is just lying in wait and trying to time him with a hook. Now Uchiyama comes forward and jabs the body, backing Solis to the ropes. Solis jabs high and backs up. Solis circles right, then goes to his left just past a chopping Uchiyama right. Double jab by Solis, then a duck as Uchiyama hammers down with a right hand. Left hook to the body by Uchiyama.

10-9 Uchiyama

 

Round 2

Solis down immediately. Slip? Not ruled a knockdown. Uchiyama circles to his right as Solis turns and launches several right hands at him, missing. Uchiyama now hammers in with his overhand right behind the jab, falling in against Solis as he ducks. Right hand lead by Solis, blocked. Uchiyama circles wide to the right, letting Solis fall short. Jab to the guard by Solis. Uchiyama lands a hook as Solis ducks inside. Sharp right to the body by Uchiyama. They come together in a clinch and immediately get told to break. Uchiyama springs up and down a bit, bouncing on his knees and rolling his fists around at his sides. Big overhand by Uchiyama, glancing.

20-18 Uchiyama

 

Round 3

Uchiyama is swinging wild combos, leading with a left upper-hook and then chopping down with his right. Solis is waiting outside, jabbing and throwing wide right hands while leaning back. Uchiyama is blocking and snapping jabs into Solis' face. Solis tries to dart in and drill his jab in with his momentum but Uchiyama is catching everything on his forearm and backing Solis out. Hard right to the body by Uchiyama. Solis tries a high right hand lead, blocked.

30-27 Uchiyama

 

Round 4

Combo to the face by Uchiyama. Long reaching shots by Solis, missing. Jab to the face by Uchiyama. Solis is backed up a few steps by Uchiyama's jab, hopping away in straight lines. Solis jabs into the guard and then rips a left hook, right hand combo. HARD overhand right by Uchiyama. Solis is backed into a corner. Savage assault by Uchiyama, hammering down hard. BIG right hand by Uchiyama with Solis against the ropes. Solis is hurt but hanging in there trying to fight. Stiff jab by Uchiyama. Double hook to the body by Solis. Uchiyama leaps to either side, not giving Solis any place to escape off the ropes. They trade flicked jabs from outside.

40-36 Uchiyama

 

Round 5

Solis fishes with his 1-2, missing. Good left hook to the body by Solis. Uchiyama crosses his arms at his waist to catch a Solis jab to the body. Uchiyama backs him up to the ropes with right hands to the body. Solis jabs at his gloves from outside, tentative. Uchiyama leaps in with a bell-ringing left hook to the head. Another one has Solis staggering and nearly putting his hand down to the canvas. Solis unleashes a burst of offense now, a hook and uppercut both missing. Uchiyama jabs Solis back toward the ropes and starts hooking at him when he's low on room.

50-45 Uchiyama

 

Round 6

Uchiyama jabs the body and then covers up when Solis mounts his counterattack. Solis backs up with his arms stretched out high and wide and Uchiyama's jab threading between them to tap him on the face. Uchiyama is walking him down with the jab now, and Solis falls in to hold him. Solis now leans under an Uchiyama jab and rips a hard hook to the body, borderline. Jabs traded from outside, neither landing. Hook to the gut by Uchiyama. Overhand right by Uchiyama. Combo by Solis misses. Right hand to the cheek by Uchiyama.

60-54 Uchiyama

 

Round 7

Uchiyama gallops in after Solis as the Mexican sticks to the ropes and plays hard to get. Uchiyama jabs him to the body and then whips a hard right hand around to crash into his face. Solis retreats once more to the ropes and is clubbed with another right to the head. Solis can't seem to stay clear of that shot. Uchiyama lands it again. Solis jabs and backs up. Solis circles left. 1-2 by Solis thrown off balance while changing direction. Uchiyama is tagging him with that right hand almost at will. Solis is crumbling. Solis backs up to the ropes and holds his left arm out stiff, trying to push Uchiyama off. Solis ducks down and fires a desperate uppercut, landing but not slowing Uchiyama down. Solis leans into Uchiyama to stifle a flurry.

70-63 Uchiyama

 

Round 8

Solis backs up, fires a long 1-2 and misses. Uchiyama jabs the top of his skull as Solis shrinks back in a crouch. Wild right hand by Solis misses. Uchiyama keeps marching forward with the jab and overhand right. Uchiyama blocks a jab and then delivers a quick vicious left hook to the body while Solis is squared up. Uchiyama charges in with a left hook upstairs. Solis trades jabs with Uchiyama, then ducks and backs out of range. Uchiyama blocks some jabs and blasts a right hand to the body. Absolutely wild stuff by Solis now, just flinging his arms all over the place and perhaps hoping to just discourage Uchiyama from coming forward.

80-72 Uchiyama

 

Round 9

Good right hand by Solis. Uchiyama lands a jab from outside. Solis is being more patient now, working his way in behind straight jabs and rights while still being careful and wary of Uchiyama's overhand rights. They come together in a brief clinch and Solis is tossed back, falling to the ground. Not a knockdown. Hard right hand by Uchiyama. Solis jabs and ducks, moving his head and making Uchiyama miss a bit. Solis is just pecking away from outside with the jab and right, everything one at a time and then getting out.

10-9 Solis

89-82 Uchiyama

 

Round 10

Solis spanks Uchiyama with a low right hand reaching around him. Solis is firing jabs aplenty, and windmilling the right hand in to keep Uchiyama quiet offensively. Many jabs by Solis. There's a nice 1-2 by Uchiyama and Solis holds. Another big right by Uchiyama! Solis is hurt and bloody! Solis dances around trying to get free. Uchiyama smacks him with a hard left hook up top. Solis jabs and slides back to the ropes. Uchiyama is atop him and they tie up. Solis dives in with a wrecking ball right hand to the body and holds.

10-9 Uchiyama

99-91 Uchiyama
