I agree about the gimmics, but I feel it is my duty to mention that Ward was the ONLY fighter in S6 that had a conditional participation, and the condition was fighting only in USA, whereas every other fighter had to travel.

They don't promote Marquez because of his age. They are thinking that he is too old and is going to start slipping any minute, yet he keeps proving them wrong. Thea reason is financial analysts that work for major networks: Part of proper investment is the time during which the investment will be giving reliable profit, and that time is cut short for aging fighters.

I think that people are severely underrating both Bika and King Arthur. They both are game, dangerous fighters who come to fight. What else could he do. On top of that King Arthur KO'd Taylor.

Nah it's not about Mexican pride or biasness at all. If you were the head or owner of promotion company who would you want to win? Fighter A who is the more popular fighter which means more $$$ for you or Fighter B who is less known which means less $$$ for you? Mexican fighters just tend to have strong fan bases that's all it is.

Does that mean Kirkland can't have the same? Of course he can, but he just needs to keep winning and especially with that style he has which is very fan friendly it's only a matter of time. He definitely needs a dose of some charisma and some swagger. American fighters Rios and Broner have it and both are quickly becoming pretty popular, but just saying Kirkland needs to be alittle more engaging with his fans. More interviews, etc.
