    Holyfield from any round round 7-11 by stoppage.

    Wlad has no inside fight game. Holyfield can walk through most jabs to deal punishment.

    Awesome fight to ponder.

    I can see it going either way, but tend to favor Holyfield 55/45. They both had all of the tools to give the other fighter hell, and the only reason I favor Holyfield is because I think he was mentally much tougher and is more proven when it comes to having to dig deep and battle through adversity.

    One thing is certain--Holy would test Wlad's will like he's never been tested since his championship run started.

    To beat Holy, Wlad would have to be mentally focused and tactically efficient. There would be little room for error as a prime heavyweight Holyfield was a master craftsman when it came to capitalizing on his opponent's mistakes.

    So are the Klitschkos. Lol, all you haters can do is keep bringing losses that happened years ago when Wlad wasn't anywhere near the fighter he is now. I guess Pacquiao sucks too because he lost to Torrecampo and some thai guy :nut

    Evander Holyfield lost to LHWs when he was in his prime, but yeah he would destroy Wlad :rofl:rofl

    Of course, only LHWs have a chance against prime Holyfield, my bad :lol: Oh, I forgot, Holy is american so he has an excuse for every loss he had, as well as various primes, when he lost he was in the middle of one of his "not prime" periods.

    People need to take into account styles not just nostalgia.
    What made Holyfield struggle with Lewis is exactly what Wlad does even better than Lewis (no Wlad is not greater than Lewis, were talking about attributes here)

    What made Lewis so effective was the jab, range, and holding.
    Wlad has faster hands and a more accurate/dominant jab, which will make it very easy to keep Holyfield at the distance he wants to have him.
    He also refuses to fight on the inside and will just hold Holyfield the few times he will get in close.

    Even though Lewis is more versatile and tougher than Wlad, the things Wlad does so well are exactly the things that are kryptonite vs a Holyfield.

    People need to take off the nostalgia glasses and just realise what a terrible style matchup this is for Holyfield.
    This does not mean Wlad is greater than Holy in any way its just the age old styles make fights thats so important in boxing.

    Holyfield would probably have made it to the final bell but it's highly unlikely he'd have won more than a couple of rounds. It would have been similar to Lewis Holy I, but with Holyfield suffering more damage.

    I suspect that nearly all the US posters will chose Holy to win, and the rest of the world choose Wlad [excluding posters biased for other reasons such as race]

    Anyone that think Holyfield wont be able to get inside and land some bombs dont know **** about boxin. This doesnt last 5 rounds - Holyfield by Brutal KO.

    vlad's chin is weak, i'd give vitali a much better shot. to me that's a good fight .
