Martinez's size, movement, handspeed, and greater length forces Pacquiao to reach, and the jab keeps Pacquiao off balance. He just wouldn't be able to cut off the exits, and the more he gets hit, the less and less he'd try to open up. Martinez has KO'd middleweights with single punches. A far cry from taking a shot from Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, or Marquez.

Sergio is highly skilled and too big for Pac but If the official weigh in would be done on the day of the fight like in the good old days, Pac would maul Sergio at 154 much worse than he did to Margo.:yep

Can we stop talking about this fight already? It's never going happen. The size disparity is too much.

I prefer it at 160 for Sergio's belts and possible 9th weightclass title for Pac(no catchweights). Close fight with Pac winning by decision.

Haters will claim robbery. Pac will get no credit. But what else is new on ESB?

    Is this even worth discussing?

    Pacman can't even make 150lbs.

    Stupid thread.

Pac was 148lbs on fight night vs Margarito on a 150lb catch weight fight.
He was probably also 148lbs vs Mosley.
    He was 148lbs vs JMM's 150lbs.

Please put some sense in your posts people.

Martinez lands too often on Pac and busts his face up with hard shots, Pac goes down around the 9-10 rounds and the ref waves off the fight

Just for the sake of discussion. You never know history might repeat itself.

Naw it was Floyd who said he would love to fight the winner between Williams and Martinez.

Floyd weighted 150 against Dela Hoya, whereas Pacman only weighted 148 against Margo.

    Damn nutter.

    Martinez beats Pacquiao.

There's a difference between beating the **** out of a 154lb heavybag (Margarito) and taking on a southpaw with a ton of skill as well as numerous physical advantages.
