How about a Seth Mitchell/Boystov fight??? Think this would be a good match up on HBO, but they probably wouldn't let it happen since they will be pushing for Mitchell very hard to survive till he meets a Klitschko. Would be exciting while it lasted

 

I agree. Gomez would be a good opponent for Boytsov at this time.

He didn't look bad, exactly. He just looked bored, like he didn't even want to be there.

maybe that's what happens when your management forces you to fight bums, or maybe Boytsov just doesn't have the killer instinct.

Either way, I don't much care about him any longer.

I'm watching Wilder & Glazkov. One of these guys will eventually be a Wlad-killer.

I used to be really high on this guy when he was about 19 or 20. Wake me up when he's fighting a live body.

 

David Rodriguez offered him 30+K back in 09 or just after his Bydenko win. Seems el Nino tried to get him another time as well but I can't recall the date.

And TBA could be Jason Gavern which could be a real good test for his glass fists.:deal

 

He's already beaten Gavern by KO 7.

If I remember correctly, Denis knocked Gavern down six times and became the first to stop him.

Maybe a fight with Welliver could materialize. With Denis' small frame and fast hands against Wellivers giant frame, iron chin, and relentless attack, could make for a 10 round slugfest. 12 if it's for Chuancey's titles.:good

 

I am so dissapointed with his progress that I feel like calling him Girltsov. And I have a been a fan since his first pro fight.

 

I remember Mike Tyson saying that a hungry fighter who wants to be champion should fight 15 times a year. Boytsov fights what? twice a year? Such bull****! These young so called hungry lions are too lackadaisical about their careers. They act as if they are already champions. Where is the heart and desire? Boytsov should be fighting every other month and so should Wilder and Mitchell and Fury and Dimitrenko. And the Klitschko's should honestly be fighting 3 or 4 times a year especially since they have had no wars in the past 5 years. Why did Wlad's fight have to be postponed so long? Vitali could have been fighting a month after his Adamek win because he wasn't even hit with one head shot in the entire fight!
All of this stuff is another reason why guys like Ali,Tyson,Holmes,Foreman and Joe Louis are worshiped.

Boytsov vs Sugar Kimbo Slice?

 

Forget Boytstov. He has a problem he can't fix.......he's too small. He's barely 6 feet tall, and if he came into the ring in real shape...Wlad kind of shape, he'd be just over 200 pounds.

He's gotten his weight to look respectable on paper in his recent fights by coming in somewhat soft. Watch the vids on youtube, he's no where NEAR cut.

He'd be ok against Chambers, Adamek, and those sort of fighters (who themselves could/should compete at Cruiser), but in today's era, Boytstov simply isn't a viable Heavyweight, and at 25 I think it's safe to say that he's fully grown.

Boystov has been a pro for going on 8 years now and has had 29 fights. Not a single decent win in those 29. How pathetic is it that Fury had a superior record than Boystov currently has after only 11 fights?
