    I would love to see Alvarez vs. Kirkland. I think that could be a FOTY type bout. Alvarez should just focus on cleaning out 154 and then targeting a mayweather type fight. It would make him more legitimate of a contender for mayweather.

    How much direct control does DLH have over Canelo's career? I mean, Oscar is saying he wants to see him in against Kirkland, which would be just the right fight for Canelo, but can he actually make it happen?

    De La Hoya will continue to hype up any GoldenBoy boxer against Mayweather. And after the bout, he will continue to hype up Mayweather, claiming he is the best, and unbeatable.

    Repeat until Mayweather retires.

    PS. Canelo does not push Mayweather at all. Let's see him in with someone who can make him fight a pace that he doesn't want to first. Cotto before Mayweather, and it's not guaranteed he can beat Cotto.

    Yeah right. And I could do damage against a 1993 version of James Toney!

    :lol::-:)-:)patsch

    Mayweather would **** Canelo up badly. Oscar is only thinking about $$$, which this fight would make. But at this stage, a fight like this could ruin Canelo's career.:!:

    He will present problems, and could also do some damage it's a 154 pound guy that comes in at 175... of course he can do some damage, but other then that GBP is selling their boy like a good promoter.
