With a bit of luck this opponent lands a lottery punch and dismantles the Cleverley gravy train. That would unarguably be the best result for British boxing; joke fights should not be tolerated.

That would only make him go for someone even less risky next time. Like a manikin.

Karpency is #11 Cruiser with the WBO, you're #15 LHW with the WBO.

Clearly he is a class above.

Not great but lets look at the positives :rofl

    Hes never been stopped
at 25 hes young and fresh but not too green
resonable ko ratio so he can prob throw as decent shot
southpaw which clev has struggled with in the past
hes travelled to europe before loosing to murat
lives and trains in the US so hopefully hes had good sparring
i think hes ranked 11 wbo so still and improvement on bellew (15 i think?)

But still it not great. All in all when i heard i was like...........:patsch

Sorry Tony. You've had your world title shot and blew it. You need to get back in line. You need to beat Julius Jackson to earn your title shot.

But seriously, I almost can't believe that this guy has only fought 1 round in the last 18 months :rofl

It's almost as if Wazza and Dean Powell are trying to outdo themselves here in a find the least attractive opponent possible competition.

Looking for a pay day eh, you lost at European level. Go back to the drawing board tony "the worlds biggest puncher" Bellew and stop dreaming about being better than Cleverly. You lost :nut

We all agree that it'd be a better and more worthwhile fight Tone but, unfortunately, it's not in anybodies best interest to match you in a 6k arena at this stage.

In Franks eyes, last time out, you both enhanced your reputations. That can't happen again.

It could be huge down the line.

And he's ranked by the WBO at cruiserweight!
