What's up with pride fc fighters not having much success in the ufc?

troll thread!!!!! rampage, anderson silva, big nog, shogun, hendo, overeem and little abit of wandy

 

Some had success some didn't. A lot of those guys wound up pretty shopworn after all their Pride battles.

 

Some guys have had sucess some havn't. You name rua but he was finished by Forrest almost lost to a 40+ Coleman ,finished chuck had a couple good fights against machida and just lost to Hendo. Anderson I wouldn`t really consider a Pride fighter, that`s like considering Wand a UFC fighter, he had 3 ufc fights before he went to pride going 1-2. Big Nog has been finished 3 times in the ufc never in pride even had his arm snapped who would have guessed that.... Too bad things didn`t work out for CC I thought he would have more sucess. I`m not sure Gomi is wrestling friendly.

Rampage has been hot and cold but ended the Liddell era, Wandy has shown signs that he still has it, Lil Nog just beat the poop out of Tito, The sky might be the limit for Overeem,Barnett is still a top 5 guy and might be the guy to get the next title shot. Rua still has a few good more years left. Hendo has 1 more trick up his sleeve.

So all in all it shows things can go either way.

 

Especially considering Pride ended in 2006 that means they will be dying out like verterans form ww2.

Anyone who thinks Wanderlei was a live fighter when he went to the UFC is crazy.

The brutal defeat against Mirko was the final nail in the coffin. That ended Wanderlei as a top fighter.

cause in pride they fought japanese ******s, that no one new.....the ufc they fight top guys and thats the problem..........sonnen recently said that pride was rigged lol cause wandy caould win 25 fight in a row and not get 2 in the u.s.

 

Oh and we should believe everything sonnen says shouldnt we. The same guy who cant even admit his drug cheat without finding some BS excuses.

UFC is rigged because Anderson can win 14 fights in a row (0 losses) but cant get more than 3 in Pride (2 losses).

 

So true. The Wanderlei who fought Chuck in the UFC was patently not the same guy who fought Rampage in Pride.
