Watch the video, all the way through, there are definitely moments when MAB is catching him clean, and Hamed is stumbling, and smiling to try and bluff. Remember him getting floored by Sanchez and Kelley. Mayweather hits harder, and is more accurate than these guys, if Hamed comes to fight Floyd stops him.
Naz was never hurt in that fight. Made to look sloppy and caught off balance, yes. Say what you want about him, but he had a really good chin. Mayweather would never have stopped him. Maybe he would have got a knockdown or two. But not a full stoppage. Especially a prime Naz; one that was a lot harder to hit.
They were more to do with his awkward balance and leaving his chin out to dry. Do you not find it strange how he would get up immediately in all of them, insisting he was ok, and ready to fight on? Yes, he had good recuperative powers, but he was rarely ever seriously hurt or buzzed to begin with, in his entire career. Besides, prime for prime, these two fighters were in entire different weight classes. Naz was an incredibly small featherweight, whilst Mayweather would go on to become a welterweight.
Yeah, sure, a man who had never come close to being stopped (let alone have his lights put out), is going to get knocked out clean by a guy who has never shown one-punch knockout power at world-level.
You're replying as if I am claiming he can beat Mayweather, when in truth you have not backed up your claims that Hamed was stumbling and hurt in the Barrera bout. Not once was he hurt by Barrera, he was outboxed.
Hamed had awesome power in both hands. Manny's defence isn't great. I wouldn't rule out a Naz KO here, despite Pac's good chin
Rico, where did I state that it would be one shot that did it? Hamed was over-rated in my eyes, people fell in love with the little guy who had a flair for showmanship and could punch. Power is the ONLY advantage that Hamed would have over Floyd, and that wouldn't even be a factor due to his in-ability to land a solid shot. Barrera controlled Hamed with technical mastery, Floyd possed the same skills, perhaps even to a higher level. Floyd dictates the fight, and people forget that at 130 - 135 , Mayweather was a very good puncher. He'd also re-hydrate to a higher weight and have a clear size and mass advantage. Mayweather was also a much more offensive fighter at lower weights, so yes Rico, I think he stops Hammed after an accumalation of punishment.
When you said "Not UD him, but knock him clean out", it sounds a lot different to "I think he stops Hammed after an accumalation of punishment". Usually, only guys with one-punch power knock other top-level fighters "clean out". And the rest of your post is obvious. Which is why nearly everone in this thread has said Mayweather would win.
If I'm not being clear then I'll apologise, Floyd comes forward, beats up Hamed, busts up Hamed, late in the fight, Floyd unloads a combination, probably ending in a left hook and crumples Hamed to the floor, ala KO.
