Playing devil’s advocate (I know someone already has but it can be done twice) here but although this is a crap fight, I wasn't expecting a big fight and anyone throwing out the likes of Cloud or Shumenov as plausible opponents are just plain naive. To bring those guys over it would take big big $, I'm talking a very high six figure fee, and how can FW afford that when BoxNation has supposedly 10,000 subscribers and the arena has a capacity of 5,000 and Clev is not known Stateside, HBO or Showtime won't buy his fights, yet.

The reality is that right now FW will make the cheapest fights available using his big name fighters as of possible. Why so he can try and get new subscribers on the back of their name alone, whilst spending as little as possible on the opponent. Is it a good business move, **** no but FW is an old school, dare I say outdated archaic business man.

Personally I don't care too much as long as FW sticks to his promise of keeping Clev busy and he is back out around May time I won't care.

However Karpency is an atrocious opponent, I wonder how much he is getting paid because I am certain that there are better far more proven opponents that would be available for a fee south of £150,000, and something similar to what Karpency will be getting. Sadly there have been worse "world" title fights in fact I would say this is a better opponent then all three of Ricky Burns World Title defence's.

Long Review over, clap for anyone who reads all that

just so all of you know, karpency took the Murat fight on literally 2 and 1/2 weeks notice. and wasnt training at all before it. he took a good shot in the 2nd round and went down and still got back up and fought his ass off for 10 more rounds in murats home town. thats what i call BALLS. the kid got heart and with 9 weeks of a solid training camp for a once in a life time opportunity, believe me this boy is gonna come to fight. in his mind its "**** you and what you critics say, see you on Feb 25th."

When the selling point of a fight is the challenger having not been stopped you know its a pretty **** fight.
