    This WAS a good fight!

You know, Cotto definitely had some good moments in this fight... but I think Pac just wore him down.

It seemed to me that Pac had more stamina than Cotto did.

I'm a fan of both Cotto AND Pac but frankly, I wonder:

Was Cotto "weight drained" coming into this fight?

Anyway, I wouldn’t mind if Cotto got a second chance.

Maybe after Floyd; that's priority. Then, a Cotto fight would be interesting if Cotto can get one other really great performance out there against a ranked opponent.

No style of Cotto wins against pac so what's the point? Would be the same result as the first fight or Pac with a UD.

Cottos a good fighter and its good to see him get back on his feet, but what exactly has he shown to deserve another Pacman fight? Cotto got back at Margarito big deal. Bradley or Marquez are the only logical choices.

It was a good fight for the first 4 rounds then Pac's speed overwhelmed Cotto and he went into retreat mode.

Cotto cant beat Pac. He looked great against Margo, but then again Margo is an easy opponent to look good against. It took him quite a while to get Yuri Foreman out, and he had a bit of a rough one with a totally shot Mayorga. Cotto can't stay in there with pacquiao, pac brings too much heat for him to deal with. I really hope this fight doesnt happen again, it'll go exactly like the first except Cotto will probably use a lot more movement this time around and make it less of an action fight. But Pac wins either way.

It will make a lot of money, but Cotto still has the same limitations. Sure he looked great against Margarito, but lets not get too excited. He was fighting a wounded man (the eye).
He'll start out fine than fade like he always dose.

Hearns-Hagler was a good fight for three rounds before Hagler put him to sleep. Would you not have watched a rematch?

Not saying Pac-Cotto was of that quality, but it was exciting when both were full strength. A rematch at a different weight, Cotto being a better boxer, it won't be the same fight, probably not as exciting, but it should be closer.

They were basically fighting all out until it ended.

Cotto(e) was alternating between "boxing" and running for his life in the last couple of rounds before the ringtarded emmanuel figured out how to get him on the ropes for a moment during the last round.

Comparing Cotto(e)-emmanuel to Hearns-Hagler is simply disrespectful.

haha, i realised that and edited while you typed this.

the running man cotto in the late rounds had been hurt badly by Pacquiao. before he was hurt it was a good scrap. if he can somehow find a way to neutralise pac's big punches he can go the distance and make it interesting.

It's far from the least sensible rematch that can be made (or will have been, of late)
