So do n e of u guys think he will really fight less than 1 month after his release from prison? If so who will he fight. I think it would be ****ing assume if $ may keeps his 5 5 2012 date and pac fights on the same date as he has stated he was planing on could be a great set up for a november bout providing they both win of course a huge ppv battle to c who gets the most buy's and it would insure that they both pick decent opponents to help sell there prospective events also they would both be forced to sign decent undercards win win for us fans.
I think the only reason he put the May5 date out there was to help his chances of avoiding jailtime. He thought they'd never lock him up with an impending fight date, especially with the possibility of it being Pacquiao.
It will never happen because Mayweather is about $$. From Mayweather's perspective, what is the point of going head-to-head with Manny and then splitting PPV sales when he can wait for a few weeks and probably get an extra 10 million dollars from fighting on a seperate night.

just over a month training and promotion and the bad press in beating up his baby mama?? don't think gbp or other promoter would touch it....unless floyd bankrolls it, i don't think Floyd is fighting on May 5th.
So if they don't fight on May 5, 2012 now that Mayweather has a date, then one of the fights will be moved. It makes no sense for Mayweather or Manny to fight on the same night unless it's against each other.
