    Come to think of it, Lopez was constantly "going for the hug" with Pavlik....Kelly just kept blastin' his ass (mostly with his hook) on the way in.

    This is crazy. Somebody needs to get in these boys ear between rounds and inform them that they are on a Nationally televised Main Event, and they are fookin' stinkin the joint UP!

    Lopez throws a curving overhand right and falls in with it too much, slapping behind Davis' back and grabbing him after failing to land. Davis isn't catching him with anything on the way in and barely trying, just anticipating the clinches and preparing for them. Lopez pokes with some half-hearted jabs thrust down at the stomach on the way in before they grab. Davis slaps up top with a hook before they tie up. They wrestle to the ropes, Davis with his back to them. Good sneaky left upper-hook to the chin by Davis as Lopez is backing off. Grazing jab by Davis. Clinch. Loooong clinch.

    Davis is just a little less ugly than Lopez in each round, however I won't be surprised if it goes to Lopez in the end.

    Davis is flicking some high jabs and then ducking forward with his eyes closed, treating the clinch as inevitable. Lopez is keeping his right arm vertical against the side of his long horse face, catching Davis' hooks and keeping his left arm held out wide to wrap around Davis to hold. Grazing jab by Davis from outside. Grazing body shots by Davis, still hanging too far back. Lopez walks into him and bashes his left forearm into Davis' face. His best and most thudding connection so far and not even a legal punch. Lopez slaps at Davis' face coming forward but is met with goalposts as Davis gets his gloves up.
