    Dunkin, one of the sport’s most astute observers, said he saw Donaire thrashing a well-known, highly regarded 140-pound contender in sparring while wearing 16-ounce gloves. In fights, he competes with 8-ounce gloves.

    “This is no [expletive], but Nonito is such a tremendous puncher,” Dunkin said. “Everyone in the business knows that. There is this guy [who is] a serious contender at 140. I don’t want to say his name, because he’s not my fighter, but he was sparring Nonito and you should have seen what Nonito was doing to him. Nonito was hurting him so bad, even with those big gloves on. He can punch scary hard.”

    the whole point of the article was to say how someone so small can throw strong ass punches. It's simple: Donaire is one of those fighters who correctly uses his whole body to throw a punch. If donaire was welterweight he'd be a ****ing beast.
