Too get him ready for Kelly Pavlik? Give me 5 fighters. P.S. Manny Steward says he wants to match up Lee up with Pavlik in Sept O8 which is nuts:nut :nut :nut

Before Lee steps in against someone like Pavlik I would like to see him in at least three tough matches with any of the following,

    Fulgenico Zuniga
    David Lopez
    Sam Soliman
    Amin Asikainen
    Sebastien Sylvester
    Giovanni Lorenzo

Wasting a talent like Lee by matching him with a world champion before he is tested is a stupid move. Put him in with the right competition and he is only a year and a half away from a world title.

Matching him up with Pavlik soon would be a horrible, horrible idea. As far as I know Lee has not been tested once during his pro career. I think he has the skills to take Pavlik but he needs to really be tested before he goes up against someone at Pavlik's level.

When you look at Andy Lee's competition, you notice how much it sucks, this kid is being rushed, if and when Kelly knocks him out itll be a shame and a helluva loss.

    Anyhow...
Abraham, Sturm, Lorenzo, Castillejo or someone that can pop. Not someone like Wright or any other defensive fighter. I mean he is fighting the best MW in the world so he might as well start fighting the top guys. All dem bums that hes fought arent gonna help him against Pavlik i guarantee you that.

Thats true, Lee is still novice, and needs more time to get his skills honed. Agreed :good

Lee has not faced anyone of real not to be evan mentioned in the same breath as most guys who are coming up. He's a great prospect still but needs to be kept on the same slow and steady path. The hype will help him and I would love to see him fight in Britain again. Maybe a Brit domestic level fighter such as Bendell or Rhodes.

What about Wayne Elcock? Would be quite a statement if he wins early like Abraham.

Hell-**** would be a good name opponent but still may be a step too far for young Lee. Wayne is decent if very lucky to get a fight with Arthur and his very second tier. Good fight for later this year though and one both would gain from. Lee would fight a former challenger and Wayne would get a chance to put himself back to the front of the pile.

Way to early for him to take on Pavlik, and pllus, Pavlik is moving up to 168 soon.

Put him in there with Zertuche, he is no tomato can. That would be a good fight.

I've seen a few fights of Lee, this kid is the truth. He'll be ready for the big leagues soon enough.

Will someone please tell me that the probable Duddy fight will be for Pavlik's middleweight straps? That Lee piece calls it a "non-title fight". If that's so, why the hell is Pavlik staying at MW if he isn't ever going to defend them?
