I cant find the Link. But Kelly said himself he wants JCCjr. That means 160. He hired Conte' for a reason. Kelly Knows He could compete with 168 lbers, but his best chance of being a champ again OTHER than fighting GLITZ at 168 is returning t0 160!

As i said before when i seen him in person, he looked NO BIGGER than me! Im 6'1 165. he may be about 175-180. but def. not 190-195 like they say he walks around at! He looked Skinny!

And what about Kelly Pavlik? "He'll go to Oxnard to train after after Christmas," Dunkin said. "We want him to spend time with his kids, he's willing to go now.

Why does he need to call it a comeback everytime ? Can't he simply name who he'll be fighting next just like everybody ? He fought less than a year ago, in a supposed comeback fight against Alfonso Lopez, than he'll have another comeback fight straight after.

A lot of boxers nowadays fight once or twice a year and they're not talking about coming back all the time. We're not in Joe Louis's era anymore.

It wouldnt be a "COMEBACK" fight if he could have layed off the booze and stayed focus back in August! Kelly said He wanted a Fight on his son;s B-day Feb. 25th. But then The DUI happened, so that delayed his move to Cali. So Now they are pin-pointing a March - Or May Date.

Would be nice if he got a Undercard fight MAY 5th against a Mexican.

I don't have much time to find too many examples of my statement, But here is a piece of research, it is fairly old but it shows what effects occur to long term alcoholics.

    http://www.amsciepub.com/doi/abs/10.2466/pms.1973.36.1.136

I'm not saying that Kelly is deff in the dangerzone, as far as I know he is not a chronic alcoholic but alcohol does leave a long lasting effect and it depends on his tolerance capabilities and the quantity of ingestion. Thats why I said it depends on the amount of damage done by the alcohol.

I wish all the best to Pavlik and hope he can stay sober. If you are a fan of the man under no circumstances offer this man any alcohol as even the smallest quantity (even less then a glass of champagne in some cases) can cause a relapse.

I can pick out the flaws in this study pretty readily. First there is no attempt made to define 'chronic alcoholic'. Many 'chronic alcoholics' let their health go starting with improper nutrition which could be the cause the same type of deterioration tested for. They would have to chronicle how the participants were chosen for this to even begin to be valid research. They set up to prove their point and probably chose their participants accordingly. They even go on to suggest a physical mechanism which is debunked in later research by ACTUAL observation.

There is not medical evidence that drinking destroys brain cells. I've had this book marked for awhile now because this article debunks lots of alcohol related myths.
