    Also not true... Cotto and Haaton turned him down for fights at 140. Kosta was so tied up with Mando's and he still got stripped of 2 titles.

    At 130 he could crack as well. I still think his power is very underrated now - when he unloaded on Ortiz at close range before the KO in the fourth round - he was throwing with real power. At 130 it was even better. 130 Floyd = skills and power.

    It's his defensive skills especially when on the ropes that are unbelievable. In the Jesus Chavez fight Floyd was pushed back into the ropes by Chavez who showed so much heart and never stopped throwing punches. Punches to the body, hooks to the head, Chavez tried to hit Floyd with everything but the way floyd used the shoulder roll and dipped to the sides then fired off 3-4 counter punches is just sheer quality.

    As much as i'm a fan of the great era of featherweights which had Pac, Jmm, Mab and Em. Floyd beats them all.
    Pacquaio at 130 wasn't the great fighter we see today. He was too left hand dependant and if Morales can counterpunch Manny all night in their first fight, Floyd would have a field day.
    Barrera would be a tricker fight as Barrera at 130 was a top fighter, excellent technician who could go into the trenches and had that lethal left hook to the body. Floyd 8 rounds to 4.
    Morales would be a wide decision as much as i hate to say it. Morales could be reckless at times when leading and trying to force the fight. Floyd would pick Erik off with quick counter and pot shots.
    Marquez fight would be similar to Barrera with Juan Manuel fighting Floyd at probably his best weight bar feather. Floyd decision.

    His resume isn't up to the standard of that of someone like Arguello, but he's arguably the best fighter to ever compete at the weight. I think he's a clear cut top 3 in the division's relatively short history.

    maybe you should start watching the fighters you posted cause it's clear you have no clue about their styles and no understanding of boxing style matchups and analysis.

    He was awesome at 130 lb, one of the best. At 147 he picked his opponents too carefully for my liking:
    Hatton was basically a 140 lber ,forced to move up to a weight he was not so good at.
    Judah, had just been beat by Baldomir and wasnt at his best
    Baldomir is a bum.
    Ortiz is a strong fighter, but was no way ready to fight a Elite fighter like Floyd
    Mosley, now that was a great match on paper, All credit to Floyd for making that happen, But Mosley just wasnt there, Not Floyds fault of course

    I'd have him in the top 3 at 130. Have no complaints from people putting him at 1, but there is a lot of competition.

    Personally, H2H, he'd give everyone who ever fought at the weight a run for their money.
