First name that immediately sprang to my mind was Hopkins When even a prime RJJ looks unimpressive and reluctant you got a winner.
The Body Snatcher was only ever dominated by Jones when he was 40 and well past his best weight and age and Tiozzo only beat him under similar circumstances. His last fight with Toney is in no way representative of his ability and the first two fights and shouldn't be considered when thinking about him, like Barrera v Khan.Kalambay didn't look good beating him and the way he turned it round v Jackson and Curry was thrilling. When he was at his best,I don't think I ever saw him being dominated, although I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.Like a current similar thread,Winky,Hopkins and McCallum are the best examples for me.Great fighters who could also be very dull when they felt it necessary.Don't remember anyone dominating Bonecrusher Smith but again, happy to be corrected.
Tarver looked good against him in there first fight. Also in the second Dawson fight Dawson pretty much easily outboxed him. It was boring but he made it look easy.
Hopkins was the first to come to mind. I think there are exceptions to some of the guys mentioned previously. I think both Trinidad and DLH looked good against Mayorga. Although the fight was very competitive, Toney looked excellent in the first fight with McCallum. Hopkins looked great against Johnson. Judah looked good in the Spinks rematch.
