are people forgetting the whole reason why floyd has to turn himself in on June 1st? cuz May 5th is already locked in. they gave him a MONTH to recover from injuries before going to jail. If he fights any later than may 5th its gonna make floyd look like a liar to the judge and might end up getting MORE time for lying. i doubt he can ask for an extra month to heal cuz theyre already doing him big favor by postponing his sentence.

on top of that if the fight were on May 25th like pacquiao wants wouldnt u think floyd would want more time to spend with family and friends after a big win? nobody wants that **** on their mind. having your biggest victory then only 5 days left until jail? i wouldnt be able to focus with my sentence so close to fight time.

this is obviously some bull**** that arum told pacquiao to say to potentially make this fight not happen. everybody should be able to see thru this ****. make it happen MAY 5th and stop hiding.

I can not understand how everybody keeps talking about Pac-Floyd when Kell Brook has an upcoming fight...

I also cannot believe people (Arum) are expecting the date to be changed.

    - You cannot have a major event and go to jail 24 hours later for 3 months. Nobody would use his last days in freedom (for a while) like that.
I for one would definitely spend it with family/kids and doing those things that I would miss in jail. Would I go to my dayjob/work on the last day? No ****ing way.
How about medical treatment in jail?

    - The judge already did one huge favor to postpone the jail sentence. No other judge would have done that imo. Never has this been seen before. Floyd got extremely lucky, Many people are surprised and even complaining about the verdict (saying the postponement is completely unfair and inappropriate).
Now you expect another postponement from the judge??!!
That's completely unrealistic and will never succeed.

The whole purpose of the locked date is so Mayweather could fight in May. The locked venue/date caused the whole postponement. I wouldn't be suprised if the legal team of Floyd had this in mind when booking the date/venue. If it wasn't for that lock, we wouldn't even be talking about Mayweather-Pac (we would be talking about the finalized deal of Marquez-Pac 4 on May 5th in that exact same venue).

Another thing is a big event in November. That won't happen.
Nobody is going into a big event straight from jail-time.
Any sane person would take personal time to heal mentally and take proper time to get in shape physically. Catch up lost time. Would you go to your dayjob the next day after jail release?
Tyson took 8 months after jail release to fight a lowlevel tune-up. (ofcourse he was in jail a lot longer)

Then there is the chance of retirement. After jail-time I always hold my breath whether fighters come back, since the jail-act takes a lot out of you.

It won't be PAC's fault if Floyd goes to jail on a stretcher or DOA. It's Floyd's fault. You should be aware of that. :D

Floyd made a mistake and he has to pay.

    :-D

You don't have to like FMJ and I'm sure you're excited about him going to jail. But it's better for the fight to happen much sooner than the end of May. Pac was picky with numbers in regards to the blood tests. Now he's doing the same thing with fight date. Don't you see a pattern? It's a nuisance.

In the post fight interview after his win over Marquez, Pac had this to say:

"Let's get it on. Make the fight happen...May 5th. Let's give the people a good fight."

A change of mind becomes a road block. He needs to realize this.

i'm a fan of floyd but to be honest all this talk of poor floyd needing time to celebrate with his family and be around friends and not being right mentally imo is bull****!!

u admit to beating up your babys momma u go to jail end of story!!

Boxing is his job and he gets paid a fortune to do it!!

£100 million and then probabbly about a month to six weeks max to go stay in the same celebrity country club that TI and Lil Wayne stayed in isn't as bad as people are making it sound....

give me 50 mil and i'll fight Pac right now and u can put me in jail for a year straight after!!

If its within May then why's that a duck move?

What, May 5 or no fight?

FYI... MoneyTeam hasn't made any tangible effort to make the fight.

I guess Twitter and Facebook is enough eh?

    ****ing teenies.
