It just confirmed what I already knew.

 

Both sides at fault. Both want to make more money before eventually facing their most difficult opposition ever.

 

I'd be lying if I said no.

 

At first I totally blamed Mayweather. Then shifted to 50/50 between him and Arum. Now it's 20 May, 80 Arum.

I think Mayweather waited Pac out, so he's not faultless. But I think Arum is the one stopping the fight now.

I've always blamed both sides and still do.

Mayweather appears to want it now, but he could just be pulling a PR move here, with his other fight almost set, making it look like Pacquiao is avoiding it.

I don't think either side has given me much reason to give them the benefit of the doubt and make me say "they truly want the fight". There's been too much posturing and PR games.

Words are just words, I don't think that much of them, I pay more attention to when I hear reports of serious attempts to negotiate.

I think they've always been fine with taking easier bouts for less money. Keep in mind, that "lesser amount" of money is still a ridiculous amount.

I used to believe Floyd was the one to blame. But it has become evident Arum is a hurdle unable to overcome. I dont blame Pac, though. Arum is playing him, and it aint Pacs fault he is stupid.

Arum was always an obstacle. Pac needs to realize that an agency relationship is a two way street; no different in real estate.
