    :good You're right actually. However, even with the BBC sports attached to it, I can see it leading to a lot of people (including myself) thinking it was a done deal. Anyways, thanks again for the edit.

    Neither guy is a free agent. Both jumped to Top Rank on short term deals I think both are still listed on the TR website as part of the stable.

    What a letdown that must of been when you read the article:deal Its cool tho I think everybody who clicked on this thread actually thought pac accepted

    how can mayweather split the purse if hes putting up his own money that would be like paying himself to fight am I wrong about this and why can't they meet in the middle like the 13th of May that gives floyd 2.5 weeks to chill before he goes to jail and gives Pac t2.5 weeks before the in May Pac not hispanic so cinco demayo shouldn't matter

    I stand corrected if Mayweather puts up his own 20mil and the fight grosses 100mil he still gets 30mil which isnt that much for him hes used to getting 60/40 therefore he more than makes up for the money he put up
