Is Manny Pacquiao scared of Floyd Mayweather?

Well he should rightfully be the underdog against Floyd but none of those names are on Floyd's level. Pacquiao still has a chance and this is the fight he REALLY needs to be motivated for. Would be interesting to see Floyd lose to see how he responds but I just want the drama to be that of the past. Fight needs to happen and the last thing we need is them to fight as old farts when the fight doesn't matter anymore. Hope he comes prepared and focus ready to massacre but we'll see if the fight even happens first.

How can you say that Mayweather is dictating terms when, like alot of people have already said, he booked the MGM on May 5th before the Marquez fight. You say it's not negotiating if one person isn't being flexible, yet its Pacquiao's side who has said Late May or no fight, outdoor arena or no fight, guaranteed purse or no fight. Who is the one dictating?

Great wins pre-Marquez 2 BUT DLH was a skeleton and many people(including I at the time) didn't consider that DLH hasn't been at that weight in years and would be drained. He does deserve credit for ko'ing Hatton and lots of credit for ko'ing Cotto which was his last big win. Both fights proved he may be small but he's a legit WW now. Especially him moving up again to face Marg who was not even ranked at 154 but had a big weight advantage.

True. If he steps aside I'm very certain Pacquiao and Floyd would fight.

 

Everyone's an expert in hindsight when assessing the Hoya fight. It doesn't take away from the extenuating circumstances leading up to it. Everyone talks like they're Nostradamus and say they saw it coming, but this is what we actually knew beforehand: Pac was a career featherweight challenging a guy that had fought Bernard Hopkins. He was a 4-1 underdog. Everyone ridiculed the matchup. Seriously, the only one who believed Pac could win was Pac himself. He was a bigger underdog then that what he would be now against Floyd. So why would anyone think he'd be scared of a lesser favorite? Pac has no fear man, dude is always up for the challenge.

 

Pacquiao is scared because he knows he can't beat Mayweather.

 

Arum is scared because he knows Floyd would embarrass Manny Duckiao.

 

Poll results are surprising given Manny's history of pretty much fighting anyone out there. No, i don't think he's scared. It's freaken Arum.
