    - UFC fighters are among the toughest athletes competing in sports. Fiercely competitive, they enter the octagon knowing they could be cut, bruised or placed in submission holds that could render them temporarily unconscious. With each fight, they run the risk of suffering career-ending injuries. But mentioning "fighter pay" to this same group of men brings forth a completely different side. They become consumed with fear. Flight instincts take over.

"Career suicide," one current fighter said when approached by "Outside the Lines" for comment.

"It would be the end of my career," said another current fighter, a former champion, when asked for an on-the-record interview about the UFC's fighter pay scale

Chael is the best mouth piece for the UFC including pay.

In fairness, the UFC are building a sport beyond and the fact remains the money and bonuses and signing fees continue to go up and up.

Really not much to disagree about. The fact that the fighters fear talking about it tells you that its not really on the up and up. What other sport are people scared to talk about what they make?

The post said something about the ESPN cut, so you dont think that they too recorded the entire thing? What makes the UFC anymore on the level then that of ESPN. You are already setting your defence. Truth is as a fan you should want to know whats really going on instead of what being spoon feed to you. White is clearly amoral, he has no problem asking fighters to take dives, go half ass, and even offering up bribes. that stuff is all in black and white.

Espn doesnt have an ax's to grind with the UFC but its part of the sport and they arent in the business of hiding stuff, they are in the business of reporting things that people are interested in. If it shows the UFC in bad light then White should clean it up.
