    Not sure if this is old news but this fight is only 10 rounds.
    Sucks for Maidana why would he agree to this ****.

    inb4 people come in and say theres no reason for it to be 12.
    I dont give a **** it should be 12.

    seems like alexander is going to try and pull another matthysse, and he's got it in his hometown again. some things never change.

    12 rounds suits Maidana hes a threat for the full distance, I think once he hurts Alexander he'll keep on the pressure and get a TKO or KO, if Alexander can take his stuff then Maidana can still win a decision IMO with his brute strength pushing Alexander back landing alot of right hands and generally roughing him up.

    12 favors Maidana, but in all honesty, that is no excuse. If Alexander wins legit in 10, he wins. The difference in rounds will only be a bitter complaint by those who would cite it.

    Possibly, we'll see, remember the fights at 147lbs not 140 this could affect both fighters in different ways, but I tend to agree if Maidanas on point he'll be to strong for Alexander.

    this is bull****, Maidana does very well in the last 2 rounds, this favours Devon, no KO in this fight, alexander has a great chin and maidana won't carry his power he looks pretty filled up at 140, 147 suits alexander

    I don't believe Maidana is stronger than Urango, and/or a better combination of power/skill than Matheyse and neither of those guys were able to spark Alexander, I get why people hate on the guy, but his chin has proven solid. He is going to look like Gary Russell Jr. relative to Maidana. Should be fun...

    I just want to throw out there something i have noticed.
    In my eyes Maidana is not that big of a warrior.
    Ever since 2009 it seems like he has been chasing the easy fights.
    Maidana chased down Khan because he knew one punch could end it.
    Then he took on Morales :lol:
    Alexander arguably lost his last three fights :roll:

    I expect Morales to underestimate Devon, get tired and lose the decision. Even if he should win the judges will give it to Alexander.
    Maidanas power is overrated.
