:scaredas:Najah Ali boxed well last night after a strong first 2 rounds off maguire he was ment to box Paul butler next Friday why has he pulled out of this fight thought he had more about him that backing out of this 1 surely he wants to beat the up and coming kids if he wants titles as he has said

Good win. He actually has some potential. Hopefully he will be managed better. His record is deceptive.

Yeh mate his record is deceptive so why not box this butler kid if he beats him he has beat the Frank ****** prospect surely this will get him credibility to get a Haskins shot 1 good win over a talented kid who in all honestly is not living the life isnt a reason to pull out of this fight but it he were to overcome butler well he has something to put on the table

Just to inform you, Ali had some facial damage from a tough fight last night. Throwing him in a week later isn't the smartest move.

No, it is important that you come on hear and correct the fans if we are spewing mis-information. Its important to stop fighters from being labelled scared if that isn't the case.

    Cheers Dave.

His face was redened all over and eyes were a bit damaged. I may be wrong but it looked like he may have broken his nose or done some damage to it was very swollen would of expected a couple of black eyes this morning. I seen the damage watching the interview at the end the guy deserves credit he was beaten badly first 2 rounds many fighters would have retreated back into their shell well done he dug really deep

Irrelevant - he's not going to fight 7 days later anyway. He'd be stupid to do so.

His face was swollen - it was easy to see. I would not be surprised if he has damaged his cheek.

    Adios.

No damage as in cuts true. However, his face was very swollen and bruised, his eyes have some grazing also.
Forget the injuries - he took a lot of punches in those first three rounds so I wouldn't put him in a week after anyway.

Thanks for the insight as always Dave, I'm yet to see the fight but Maguire sounded very determined and was always talented. I don't think he should be too disheartened either.
