seriously HBO should publically announce they will be holding a FACE OFF style event for the mayweather pac fight with regards to negotiations and actually getting the fight signed

pacquiao sits accross from mayweather just like any other face off

i suppose arum and roach would have to tag along and mayweather i suppose could bring a representitive from GBP (if he chooses to affiliate the fight with them) and hes uncle and trainer roger would also be present

the truth comes out when the public is watching everything unfold and have an unbiased HBO team moderating

it would be cringe worthy to watch as both floyd and pac are TERRIBLE public speakers (manny having english as a second langauge and floyd just having this horrible habit of studdering)

is there anyway HBO could have this event made? it would add hype (like the fight needs anymore) and if either party declined the invite then it would just make them look incredibly bad

This is actually not a bad idea, I've posted something similar to this in another thread. It would clear up the he said she said crap and single out the real side that's stopping this fight from happening. They could do a face off and show clips of it in the 24/7 segments.

That reminds me of the Hopkins-Roy Jones live negotiations

    '60/40 I kick your ass!'

It will be Ellerbe/Haymon/Schaeffer versus Arum/Koncz/Buboy

Great idea. They should have external collaborators on call with notice beforehand so they can't back out and say "we'll have to talk to the venue owner/investors/ring doctor/manager/mother before we can decide anything"; lifelines, like on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. I can see it now:

Kellerman: "You've used all your lifelines Bob. Are you going to take the 50/50 split on May 5th or not? Final Answer..."

    Arum: "Well-"

Roach (on Speakerphone): "Ehhh well ya know...just make the fight Bob. Let's do it. Manny wants it, I want it. Right Manny?...Manny?"

Ellerbe (Speakerphone): "They treatin you right Joy? Did they touch you?!"

Live televised negotiations!! Awesome idea. In fact this should be mandatory for every fight
