This fight may never happen. Too much money to be made or lost.

This is boxing people. It's all about promoters making the fights and making their money. The Super Six was great, ESPN , Showtime, HBO and other networks are doing justice by allowing us to see free fights. But these so called Mega fights always come down to money and huge egos. Floyd screwed it first a few yrs ago by demanding drug testing and every other excuse he could come up with. Now he fools everyone by giving some fake date of May 5th knowing he's not going to fight right befor he goes to jail. Please, both promoters want a bigger piece of the pie, and they are not bending. I think the fight could have been made had dumbass Mayweather not acted like an idiot and kidnapped and abused the mother of his kids. Manny should not be blamed one bit because Floyd has to go to jail. That's hi dumbass fault. Manny's not fighting under Floyd's demands because he has to go to jail soon. Serve your damn time for being an idiot, and then have all of your puppets talk with ego maniac Arum. I'm sure this fight will happen this year, but it won't be the same. They missed a chance at history. The excitement of this fight is fast losing it's appeal. Too bad they have missed such a great opportunity. Shame on them.:-:)-:)-:)-:)-:)-:)-:)-(

I'm in favor of it never happening at all; what does that make me?

I'll be the first to admit that the whole Mayweather Pacquiao saga has got me sick, and is really overshadowing other great fights and up and coming fighters.

HOWEVER,there's no avoiding the subject when almost all of the top guys within 20-25lbs of 147 are constantly calling them out.

And what the heck, i'd love to see them fight, it'll be a fight that defines an era, kinda like the hearnsvsduranvshaglervsleonard fights in the 80s,

If it happens I will of course watch it but I just hope it is not like when Hopkins and Jones finally fought.

It reminds me of the girl who you've gotta have, but after awhile you finally seek greener pastures, more realistic opportunities. But damn, whatta fine prospect! :nut

They both deserve blame. But I'm sick of people saying its a black eye for the sport, etc. It's a black eye for a few people IN the sport, not the sport itself. Boxing is a great sport, too bad the people involved in it so often fail to rise to its lofty standards.

Thats because this is the opinion of casual fans and the people who have searched Manny and Floyd on Google ..The Super 6 was a step in the right direction..Thats for the die hards ...Manny and Floyd is now a Hollywood fight And I myself could care less if it happens or not .

You're not a true boxing fan if you believe anything that Bob Arum ever says.

    Anything at all.

If Bob Arum said, "Hello, my name is Bob Arum," I wouldn't believe him.
