Which Card would you prefer?

    Main Event
    Joe Frazier vs Evander Holyfield

    Co-Main Event
    Manny Pacquiao vs Meldrick Taylor @140

    Undercard
    Fernando Vargas vs. Sergio Martinez @ 154
    Edwin Rosario vs. Vivian Harris @ 140

    Card 2 HBO:
    Main Event
    Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Roberto Duran @ 147

    Co-Main Event
    Felix Trinidad vs. Tommy Hearns @ 154

    Undercard
    Bob Foster vs. Roy Jones Jr. @ LHW
    John Mugabi vs. Jermain Taylor @ MW


    As boxing fans if both of these cards were on under different networks on the same night we'll eventually aim to see all the match-ups.

    My question which one would you prefer to see live?

    Also you may notice that I put Showtime and HBO for each of the cards. The idea is that the commentators for each of respective networks will call the respective fights.

    I'm not missing Frazier-Holyfield for anything. But i'd watch the other one up until the main event. If I had to pick one or the other i'd pick card 1.

    I figured Frazier Holyfield would be a factor.

    It's a stacked card. As odd as it is it makes far more sense to put Jones on the undercard or co-main event if you prefer but he has to open up for both Floyd and Tito.

    The reality is that both Trinidad and Mayweather have proven to be bigger cash cows than Roy Jones Jr.

    Tough choice!

    Frazier-Holyfield - instant ATG war.

    Floyd-Duran - ultra-techical match-up.

    I'll go with the Card№1 knowing that i missed some great fights!

    yeah. I'd also rather see Mugabi-Taylor then Vargas-Martinez or Rosario-Harris.

    As many have said Frazier vs Holyfield is the ultimate H2H HW fight for me, on par with Frazier vs Marciano

    Frazier/Holyfield could be the only fight on card 1 and i choose it, it would be the biggest test of will and heart ever shown in a boxing ring IMO

    Good thread... The Duran v Mayweather thing would be fascinating as hell to me so I went with card 2, I also think Hearns blasts right thru Tito but it would be fun while it lasted.
    Mugabi-Taylor would be good for sure & Jones v Foster fascinates the hell out of me too, just don`t know what would happen there.

    Ps. as good a fight as Frazier-Holyfield would be I`ve always thought the best match-up in HW history, action-wise, would be Frazier-Marciano.... I think both are a notch above Holyfield.
