also, think about it, Khan was getting dominated on the inside, his inside game is poor, and he only had the pushes to keep Dirrell off him really, if you take out the pushes, which are illegal, he's getting his ribs smashed in. It was still a close fight and could have went either way though.

In the beginning Khan was a sore loser but I agree that there is enough shadiness surrounding the fight and I understand his anger in Peterson not having signed for the rematch yet. If this is what has to be done to get a rematch then so be it. It's a disgrace that this is the state of boxing and fights just can't be made. No wonder people will go to the UFC where fan dissatisfaction is much lower.

Points are almost never taken away from a fighter for gyrating and dry humping another fight either, but I'll tell you what if he you kept doing it in a fight you would have points taken off. :deal

Team Khan make me what to hang myself just so I dont have to come into contact with there shite-talk anymore.

I cannot stand pushing, holding and pushing head down of fighters. I have no problem with points being deducted to any fighter when a guy like Peterson worked hard to get inside for Khan to push him not just a bit but at times across the advertising sign on canvas.

It's a shame all this has taken away from a fine fight and display from both guys. Peterson won the fight on my card and i didn't feel Khan had legitimate knockdowns himself yet got one.

    Great post.

It's a bit like the grappling/shirt-pulling that takes place in the penalty area before pretty much every set piece.

It's rarely penalised, but when a penalty is awarded managers/defenders are often aggrieved.

Khan obviously shares this same victim mentality; 'others have escaped censure, so why not me?'

The funniest part for me (apart for all the bitching/blaming Khan did post fight) is how much cheating he blatantly did iright in front of the ref, and somehow thinks hes above the law, no matter how many times he was warned. He could, quite legally have been disqualified for the amount of pushing, pulling down the head and the blatant punch on the break.

There should be more point deductions for fouls which fighters use so frequently it becomes a part of their general fight gameplan (holding, pushing, leaning on) if you ask me.
