You mean the same guy that got outboxed by the British/European level Tony Bellew? :rofl

If Froch can't get Bute then I'd like to see him fight Cloud at 175.

Eddie Hearn recently tweeted that Froch would move down before moving up. It was in response to a question about the Cleverly fight. It was probably a bit of bravado.

  5. I don't see why anyone in Carl's camp would worry about Cleverly.

Until Nathan ditches Vince The Mentalist he's going to be a KO waiting to happen.

Froch would out-box him with ease and win a lopsided decision/late stoppage.

    Deserves an easy fight.

Cleverly at LHW, then back to SMW to take kessler/stieglitz

What happened to Froch-Bute? Last I heard Hearn said he was days away from tying it up? The 2 series "home and away" fights always seemed bollocks to me but I'd hoped they'd get 1 fight out of the negotiations.

I posted in another thread that I doubted they'd go for a 2 fight series before seeing the first fight but I thought they could make a compromise over taking 1 fight.

Did it sound like Hearn wanted 2 fights but Showtime wanted 1 or that Showtime just didn't want Froch-Bute?

It's on the scene. Showtime apparently want an American opponent for Bute :think

here's a thought. Is there any way Froch can perhaps move DOWN to middleweight? I no it might seem stupid, but he is usually on the weight about a week before.

I doubt froch could make 160 but if he could there's a range of good fights for him, more likely he'd move up.

Tony Dirrell in Nottingham. Showtime have been hyping him and I don't see a reason for Froch to move up in weight. After that he can be in the mix for another title shot against the winners of the other fights that are scheduled or DeGale/Groves.

168 holds nothing more for Froch , he's already over acheived , he should slip up to 75 and fight Cleverly
