Havent't seen much of Anthony Dirrell, but I'm sure he's a vast step up from anything Bute fights. Bute defended against Mendy who had just got waxed by Sakio Bika, yet Dirrell will be a problem because he doesn't sell.. do you hear their excuses? ****ing laughable!


If Robert Garcia gets Pavlik back in shape, I'm confident he'd shatter Butes glass jaw.

Bute could have fought anybody in Romania, didn't matter - it was a non Showtime, mando, safe homecoming fight.

i meant DIRRELL but Yes Both Andre's would. If Pavlik gets in shape, Im pushing for a Pavlik-Froch. Not That I dont think a focused Pavlik Couldnt KO BUTE, But Froch-Pavlik is a great Style/action fight!

We were just about to get Bute-Froch, Showtime made an inexplicable ***** move, whether that's Hopkins pulling strings or patriotism kicking in.

I didnt read the details. Are they afraid it wont Sell??? Cause it would! Id like to see a Hopkins-Bute.

 

Showtime signed a three fight deal with Bute and his team, they've weaseled out of fighting the best for the two fights, they want him to face an American, whether it be Hopkins, the Dirrell brothers or Ward doesn't really matter, they want him to fight an American, NOW.

Hopkins has called him out since the S6 started, Bute doesn't have the balls Pavlik has, Pavlik gave Hopkins a big fight, Bute has ran the other way, fighting Mendy,Magee and Brinkley, when Pascal and Hopkins has called him out time and time again.

 

They mention wanting an American, and they say Ward or Hopkins. Dirrell just fought on Dec 30th and was interviewed recently on OTR saying he thinks Bute is a protected but top fighter, and that he would take the fight. I believe Showtime didn't mention his name (to Hearn anyway) because a Bute-Dirrell fight is not the big showdown they're hoping Bute's last fight (per contract) to be.

 

it doesn't make him the most exciting because those fights can be made. he could fight king kong and he still wouldn't be exciting.

how can anyone forget the disgrace of a show he put up against froch? and don't get me started on the abraham fight.
