That's a good point. - But Lee has a great trainer, and no doubt has learned from his mistakes. His fundamentals are so strong that all he ha to do is make a mental shift.

He's still weak on the inside, but that wouldn't matter much against Quillan. The big question would be Lee's defense, which definitely needs some tweaking.

 

Very Interesting match-up, I see Lee narrowly winning right now but Quinlan is a live dog and would beat him in a few more fights. Dangerous match-up for both guys for sure

that was 3 years ago in fairness, he looked a lot better last time out.

Ive got Quillan by close decision though.

Quiilin has a "Jerry Rice" type work ethic. He always comes into a fight well trained and prepared. A real student of the "Sweet Science". You fighting Quillin you better bring your "A" game. No one's found the blue print to beat him yet and he's in his prime and at the top of his game. I'll take "Kid Chocolate" by KO

 

Yeah Andy Lee avenged his loss to Vera with a clear, dominant win.

 

If its a boxing match I give it to Lee because he's the more complete fighter. Also Quillin doesn't have much of a jab or defense (he gets hit with a ton of unnecessary shots) ... I like Lee ... But Quillin is from my home town and he can fight but technically I like Lee.

 

More problaby yes! But if for some strange reason Lee were to win in Germany, expect Golovkin to be pitted against Lee as per WBA rules. That ofcourse if Lee wins "officially".

Quillen has a hell of a right hand, he's got power, but IDK yet about him vs Lee. The McEwan he fought was alot slower than the quick handed one that fought Lee. Lee in his rematch with Vera just dominated Vera and took his time taking him apart. He looked from a different league than Vera. I like Lees mixture of boxing and punching and Quillins timing cuz he's not the fastest fighter, but I liked how he dismantled McEwan with nice placed punches. Kid Chocolate seems to handle southpaws well so far, but like somebody mentioned he hasn't faced someone that can crackle just like him. And Lee would be a great test. The Lee that dominated Vera would be a handful for Quillin, but even tho he's greatly improved, Idk if once he feels Quillins power Lee will lose his composure or not. When he starts infighting Lee drops down acouple levels because that's not his fight and not good at it. This one can go either ways even tho I think Quillin might be the favorite having a common opponent in McEwan. Id slightly favor Lee in an upset and FOTY come from behind win.
