Obviously the lion's share of the blame has to go to Martinez for cutting the weight and not coming into the fight 100%. But, some of the blame should rightfully be directed at May. After all, he is the one willing to fight a weight drained middleweight instead of the most dangerous fighter in his own division.
If this fight takes place below 154 it's Nobodys fault. Sergio wants a payday and Mayweather wants a top p4p name on his record. However the credibility of the win tales a pounding ala Pac-Oscar, a great win becomes a good win and no more.
Yeah Summer 2009 after Freddy Roach said that Mosley was too good to fight at 147 and they would need to fight a lower weight and then they could make the fight and then Mosley agreed and Poochiao ducked Mosley even at a catchweight
Martinez fights in March making a May 5th bout with Mayweather pretty much impossable. I don't see the point in talking about it right now. My quick opinion is that it is a bad idea for Martinez to drop below 54 at this point in his career and at his age to fight anyone. That is not going to change post Mayweather's jail time.
bias poll and thread-there is no answer for the alternative which is that Floyd is too good, EVEN AT 150.. FLOYD UD MARTINEZ AT 150, 154 OR 156.
