Andy Lee v Felix Sturm

Lee will stop Sturm I reckon. Good fight.

 

Sturm was robbed verses Murray. I had Sturm-Murray 8-4 Sturm or 9-3 Sturm. the Macklin fight i had about 8-4 Macklin.

 

Had Sturm- murray pretty much even and Macklin just edging out Sturm. Neither of which I'd consider a robbery.

I think the styles mesh up quite nicely here. Should be a good fight.

 

I really think Lee can take this into his own hands and not leave it up to the judges, he's got enough power to stop Sturm at any stage of the fight.

 

If Lee keeps his head it`ll be a close one, if not i think Sturm will stop him in the Championship rds. I was impressed with Lee`s mindset in his last fight. As for Macklin -Sturm i had it 115-113 to Macklin and Murray - Sturm 115 -114 To Murray

 

Hope so. Lee is decent and Sturm is there for the taking.

If he doesn't fight Murray again then Lee is a good opponent.

 

I think the judges got Sturm vs Murray about right. Murray had the higher work rate but a lot of his shots were pitter patter, wheras Sturm landed the harder shots. I think Macklin did better but couldn't sustain it for the full 12.

Lee could stop him if he's on the ball, he doesn't want to leave it in the hands of the judges.

 

God I really hope this fight gets made. Lee can outbox him and he has an outside chance of stopping Sturm. With fair judges, I'd fancy Lee but I'm not so confident of him getting a decision in Germany.

Hopefully Lee can win this, i worry though if he doesn't get rid of Sturm he will come on strong late in the fight when Lee gasses.

 

I'm in the minority here - I think Sturm, even on the slide, takes this. I honestly did score the Macklin and Murray fights to Sturm, and thought they were close - either way, don't buy that either man was 'robbed'. And I see this fight playing out similar to the Macklin fight, with Lee eventually tiring out and not being able to cope all that well when Sturm adjusts during the fight.

 

Have to admit I had Sturm winning both the Macklin and the Murray fights.

I see something similar against the current Lee, but wouldn't be surprised if Lee chose this moment to step up his game and claim victory.

Right now its Sturm UD again for me though.

Great fight for Andy and he deserves his shot,wasn't looking forward to Quillin,hopefully this will get the green light!
