Fury in the second fight stopped him. Also, from what I remember, Williams deserved the win in the first fight.

I hope Price uses this opportunity to perform the most gangly and ill co-ordinated Ali shuffle since Tyson Fury's attempt against McDermott in their second fight.

Who did Big John say he'd KO'd in sparring on Ringside earlier? He was mumbling a bit and I couldn't pick it up.. James something?

I'm looking forward to this, Big John will hopefully land a few decent shots and we get to see how Price reacts given that he is being branded chinny in many quarters. I expect Price to use the jab to keep range and will be patient and economic with his right, which I think will land big in the mid rounds. Big John will get inside and test on occasion though before being stopped.

    Im going for McDermott here....

If anyone deserves a bit of luck its him. Im hoping for a SD victory for big John. He gets a nice fat pay day for the rematch where Price will KO him.

    Everyones happy

I like both guys so I want it to go 12 & hopefully big John has a few moments.

I think Price is going to bomb him out early though & not get tagged a lot, which will still leave a lot of questions unanswered.

    Looking forward to this :bbb

  9. Price for me, middle rounds stoppage. He's not the sort to come in and try and bang someone out, plus I think McDermott will be well up for it before being rescued around the 7th.

    Can't really call Price a prospect, he's nearly 30 :-(

McDermott's had four fights in 31/2 years, fought just over a minute in the past 18 months and before beating Larry O his last win was in 2008. I like him and he's been woefully unlucky but let's be realistic.

Everything points to Price stopping him quick. Price is the biggest puncher John has fought and tubby hasn't got the greatest chin. He's faster, more skilled, bigger, more powerful.

But, the thing is...Price hasn't been asked any questions yet. And his chin. Thats why we can't be too dismissive of McD, but I'd say we should be expecting an impressive performance from Price.
