It was Mayweather that needed it more until recent developments now it's definetly Pacman cause without it he'll be remembered as a ducker, it'll overshadow his whole career and right now if it doesn't happen in the future when people look back on it Floyd will get a pass for doing everything possible to make it happen and they'll remember Pac ducking the fight. Floyd vs Martinez would be just as significant for Floyds legacy as a win over Pac, actually moreso at this point. So now, Pac needs it more.

As long as there is a couple of rematches in the contract. It could be some great battles.

Mayweather needs it more right now for his legacy. Pacquiao also needs it as well but not as much as Mayweather. Right now Mayweather's resume is not quite as good as Pacquiao's and a win over him would be a great win on his record. Would that put him in the top 10? Hell no. And no unless mayweather beats Martinez at his weight 160 then its not as good as a Pacquiao win IMO.

Not even close: Floyd. Manny has epic bouts against against the great Mexican champions of his era, Cotto (who Floyd avoided), and his trilogy with JMM, two of which were fought at his proper weight.

A 5th lineal title would put Pac up with the greatest of the greats. Still I think Mayweather needs it more as he's never faced another near-prime ATG calibre opponent. Manny already has with Barrera and Marquez.

I dont have time to watch your 13min ***** video. Everyone else and the boxing world will tend to agree that Pacquiao has a better resume than Floyd ATM and your just gonna have to deal with it :good

Guys...it's not even close. Floyd has done more. Manny will always be suspect without this test, Mayweather is obviously one of the best boxers of all time. He doesn't need Manny, he could go on to win the middleweight championship on May 5 instead. That, to me, would be more impressive than boxing little Manny's ears off.

AND, what the hell is Manny gonna do? take on 140 pounders? That's cool, but don't call yourself a welterweight. Or is he going to beat up on Cotto some more? That will not impress me either. Manny needs top 5 welters, nothing less....BUT, there is not one n their list, except Floyd, a true welter who is picked over the next two weight classes above him. You cannot say the same for Manny. Manny DEFINITELY need this fight more, no question.

Lol do you live to defend your man crush on Floyd? Im talking about his whole career not his stint at 140/147 and btw alot of people picked him to lose these fights . Its a fact and everyone in this thread except you and your ***** buddies seem to agree with me that Pac's resume is better. I guess it hurts you to read that :rofl

No its not a fact ******* and if Pacquiao's resume at WW sucks, then Mayweather's resume is better.

+ Beating a weight drained Erik Morales coming off a loss to Zahir Raheem doesnt count, most people also believe that Marquez beat Pacquiao 3 times

I don't really know who needs it more... but I would say that Pac will gain more if he beats Floyd than Floyd beating Pac.... the reason is simple... Floyd would be the favourite and Pac the underdog... most people who really look at the fight without any bias will tell you that Floyd would beat Pac rather easy and Pac's team know that...

In other words this is a fight for Pac to lose... The only chance that Pac has is a lucky punch... He won't beat Floyd by decission.
