Would anyone here bet for $$$ if Pac vs Mayweather fight happens?

I have a grand saved up whenever the fight happens.

 

I've been planning to bet on this fight for the past several years. I started with $500 about five years ago, and I've been betting and betting on various sports since. I've won more than I've lost, and my online wager balance is currently at about $2500. Better return than my stock portfolio!

I always have been and always will be thoroughly convinced that Mayweather would win a surprisingly easy shutout against Pacquiao. So much so that when I started my account five years ago I promised that if and when the fight ever happens that I would bet the entire thing on Mayweather.

I've never been more sure of that, and I know it's a smart bet because the amount of money coming from Asia and from random non-fans betting on Pacquiao will artificially make the odds closer than they deserve to be.

There is rarely an opportunity to make the kind of money on the kind of inflated odds that we would be seeing for this fight. I'm strongly considering putting additional money into the wager beyond the $2500.

 

Maybe with something like Pacx2.8 or Floydx1.8.

I might put a little money on Pac as his odds will be alot bigger. Can't write the guy off, he's come through as the underdog in big fights a few times in his career. This thread has the same feeling as the ones about how he'd fare vs De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. All that's missing is PacDBest making his prediction on how Pac will beat Mayweather.

 

Nah, I wouldn't bet if the odds were so stacked for the favorite. Doesn't seem worth getting a fraction back of what you bet. If I were to bet it would be in a fight where I think the underdog is going to win. The people that bet on Marquez in the last Pac fight got ****ed over. Imagine how much they would have won if the judges hadn't been bought off.
