Someone tell me about this guy, he seems interesting, but he's already 28 years old. A HW has his best years in start 30's. But what are his weakness and his strengths ? Who is his trainer, and so on...

Much like Frankie Gavin, he should be in the same place as Groves and DeGale but isn't.

In case anyone forgot, Price was the Bronze medalist in 2008 and the best he has achieved by now is a British eliminator! At least he gets the English title should he win tomorrow night.

He wasted 8 fights and 2 and a half years doing absolutely nothing against absolute shite opponents.

I'm 100% behind boxers building as fighters as its a specialist sport BUT top amateurs should have no more than 4 or 5 bull**** fights and ONLY if they are in very quick succession. After that they should start working through the ranks depending on their country. In the UK that means go the domestic route then quickly onto Europe, contenders and a world title shot.

I know some people don't think much of him (Flea I believe doesn't like him) but I rate him. Good technical ability, jab and straight, decent power.

Supposedly had a dodgy chin in the ams but I haven't seen anything to suggest that's still the case but then I haven't been watching him too closely.

I suppose we'll see tomorrow. McDermott is a good fighter to guage how good he is.

I don't see how this guy is the best British heavyweight prospect when he's 28 and has only fought Dallas, who took the fight at stupidly short notice.

Tyson Fury is 23? 24? and has beaten McDermott, Chisora and fights more regularly.

Price is good, but at his age he isn't a prospect. Nobody knows what his chin is like in the pro game either.

He's 5 years older and hasn't fought at the same level until tomorrow so saying he's better is essentially guesswork....

Also if he keeps winning and fighting better fighters each time then there is the 'prospect' of him fighting for a world title so in that respect he is still a prospect... ;)

I like the way he comes across in interviews ..

Seems down to earth and focused on letting his boxing do the talking..

Fully expect him to do a job on McDermott over the weekend ....

    i like him...a lot.
he has a great attitude...and from what i have seen so far has the tools to back up everything he says.
as for the small amount of fights up to this.....and maybe someone more knowledgeable than me could expand on this...he is learning a lot from some very high class sparring he has been doing...so he's not inactive if you look at him from that point of view
