Nonito is one of my favorite active fighters and never seemed like the type of guy to ignore a challenge. hes actin as if Rigo is not a factor on his twitter and says he doesnt plan on fighting him. after vasquez he says hed rather fight the japanese guy or Arce. Arce? hes an old man. Rigo is on top of his game and after KOing Ramos this has become a demanded fight. Rigo calls u out and u ignore it? come on Nonito.

Pretty typical, really. And you have a strange definition of what it means to duck another fighter.

Rigo is too high of a risk and such little of a reward.

A bit early for such a sweeping statement Cellz.
I'm all for Rigo but I think Donaire will string this out awhile. If he's steering clear of Rigo in two fight's time then I think you'd have more of a case.
I want this fight badly though so look lively Nonito!

He's Afro-Cuban (ie still black). Agree with you he's a massive racist though.

DONAIRE won't even MENTION Rigendeaux OR GAMBOA in an interview. He wants to avoid them.

let Nonito whoop up on either Arce or the japanese dude (the japanese dude is really really good)

Gamboa is on the TR payroll.

you're smoking crack on that one.

    and he's 126-130..ridiculous.

and let's wait for Rigo to fight on an ESPN card a year from now..

I'd rather see Donaire vs. Nishioka anyway. Let Rigondeaux get a better win under his belt and then we'll see. I can't believe he's considering Arce, though.

You are dreaming if you think Bob will put Nonito vs Rigo see what's happening with Juanma and Gamboa, Pac and Floyd this guy could smell an upset the high risk low reward equation is there, he's old but not a fool his business is making money not pleasing the boxing fans.
