is Paddy McDonagh any good

I saw him at Barnsley in December, his opponent was pretty bad but took a round or two off of him, so not very good. Decent technician though if I remember correctly.

I'm guessing he isn't much fun to watch since SKY wasn't keen to show his 10 rounder on the Price-McDermott undercard, but showed a six-rounder and a pair of 4-rounders featuring novices instead.

 

Hes "technical", which in reality means not particularly TV friendly

 

He isn't a bad technical boxer but is one of the most feather fisted boxers I've ever seen.

 

I guess the case for the defence would offer up that he is only 19

Busy and aggressive. Satchell, Power and Edwards all turned down fights with Jamie for that bill so he had to fight a guy more used to fighting at Super FEATHER instead of Jamie fighting for a Flyweight eliminator!!

Hopefully Maloney starts to get him some really good fights.
