Which Brit fighters have you met and what were they like?

  1. By all accounts Witter is alright behind closed doors.

    It's just on camera that he's a complete knob, but his acting skills are probably school play level, so easy to see through.

    Hmmm...... reasonable and biased narrows it down on here these days.

    He's actually a cracking bloke and good ordinary bloke company. The thing that colours everyones views is his attitude to Hatton....when you really look back, a lot of what he said was true. I like him, decent lad. :deal

    I support Donny and I was sat a few rows behind Junior once at a game but I didn't dare talk to him because I am literally Mark off Peepshow. He was with his girlfriend who was quite plain looking, I seem to recall.

    If you're reading this, Junior. You can probably do better.

    :happy Three Donny fans on the board, alright mate? Honestly, you should have tapped him on the shoulder....any British fighter ther than Hatton....he would have been gobsmacked that you recognised him

    David Haye

    I got banned out of Intake Club when I was a young lad for standing on the snooker table....they had the best tables in the area at one time. Bawtry me :deal

    ive met chris eubank, joe calzaghe, barry mcguigan, darren barker, frank bruno.

    calzaghe was a proper dick head (and i was a huge fan)

    barker was really down to earth and had a lot of time for me, nice bloke.

    Ok let's name drop haha, I've met:

    David Haye - Really funny and down to earth
    Enzo Mac - Respectful and has time for fans
    Ola Afolabi - Met him after the Enzo fight, the mans a joker he was drunk
    Amir Khan - Always has time for fans, funny lad
    Ricky Hatton - Typical Mancunian, good guy
    Lennox Lewis - Briefly just shook hands
    Danny Williams - Saw him before Skelton fight, very respectful
    Malignaggi - Reminded me of someone from the Godfather family :lol:
    Manny Pacquiao - Very humble
    Victor Ortiz - Top bloke, just a normal guy
    Maidana - Doesn't speak english so didn't chat just shook his hand
    Oscar De La Hoya - A bit big headed but decent guy
    Hopkins - Right ****, saw him in New York and he wouldn't take a picture :twisted:
    Adnan Amar - Quiet lad nice guy
    Uzzy Ahmed - ....
    Suleman M'Baye - Funny guy, had loads of laughs with him
    Judah - just shook hands


    I think I missed a few people but probably not that important. I know not all British but I want my 2 minutes of fame heard too. :D

    Oh and I met Prince Naz - this was once he was bloated and years after his last fight.
