if donaire rigo doesnt happen right away, the second most interessting fight in the division would be rigo vs "the man who beat rafael marquez"

what ya think, toshi is physicly bigger and taller + has a pretty good punching power.

I got Rigo, but Toshi has an chance.

Great fight! Tough to pick a winner, both guys are very savvy in the ring and both guys have one punch KO power. Rigo would probably win a competitive decision by outworking Nishioka but I wouldn't bet a dime on this fight.

One thing I was shocked about what Rigo fight last night was just how little he used his right hand. I mean, other than a range-finding jab, did he throw any right hands?

We need to stop underestimating Nishioka. He'd give ANYONE problems at his weight, and honestly against Donaire he should only be slightly the underdog... (yes, I think he'd beat Rigondeaux).

It's hard to tell whether the poll is more reflective of people overreacting to last night's win against Ramos or the fact that many people still haven't seen much of Nishioka (since most people don't tune in to the Japanese boxing cards that are on at the crack of dawn for Americans, and his US TV debut was on the limited-market Fox Sports and conflicted with Maravilla on HBO) :think

To me Nishioka is the favorite here.

This forum will pick Rigo because he won a fight yesterday.

Some idiots were saying they have Rigo in their P4P lists just below Donaire.

Nishioka,But Rigo has a great chance... It would be a very technical fight... To me like JMM/ Chris John.

But based on what I saw of Nishioka-Marquez, I can see a game Nishioka losing a decision.

    Demo, GAMBARE NISHIOKA!!

    Haven't seen Toshiaki before actually.

Any assessment of how he fights?

I think like Chris John and other Asian fighters not in the radar of casual fans, it seems he is being underrated.

i havent seen enough of nishioka to give a final statement.
but his resume speaks for himself, it would be competitive and a good fight.
Now: beating Rafael Marquez-one of the greatest in the division-isnt the same ( stylewise) than beating Rigondeaux.Marquez is an aggressive fighter that likes to lead the attack while Rigo will sit back and counterpunch all night.Rigo has more power -Marquez a superior workrate.
would love to watch this fight since Nonito wont be allow to walk around Rigo for next 3 yrs
