Looked good in parts but felt he should have been able to stop Rasani though, had him hurt several times.
Looks decent, lot to work on but promising fighter! He sometimes would hold balance but at times he'd load up to much and fall out of balance he's got to keep consistent and not load up. I think also not push so much but i tell you the thing i loved tonight in his fight was when he stepped off pretending his was tired and fed up and tricked not only Rasani but also Watt who believed it. Rasani followed in and Whyte unloaded a lovely right hand. He doesn't smother work and knows why he didn't stop man, i like what he did tonight.
Come on, he looks like a slightly more mobile Larry....ponderous at the very least, had to think about his shots which doesn't bode well
I enjoyed the fight, the comparison with Larry O is a bit harsh. He looked good for his 4th fight, plently of potential. Athletic for his size & looks strong, if he improves technically I think he could be a decent puncher.
I did say slightly more mobile than Larry, it wasn't meant to be an insult....He's definately a manufactured fighter and not a natural.
He looks good for an ex kickboxer in his 4th fight, seems keen to learn as well. I saw some head movement & a few counters, I also saw him do a 360 & fall on his arse after missing a right hand
he should be able to win a british title and then cash in for a big fight with Anthony Joshua in a few years.
I found his previous fight on youtube, nice interview at the start. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrkHGC47JZU[/ame]
I may be misremembering...but sure I saw an article on the scene when he turned over where it said he killed/permanently injured someone as a Nak Muay.
I didn't mean that he boxed like Larry, just that he's manufactured and looks like he's been fond of the juice at one point or the other
