Fury vs Price won't happen anytime soon, if for no other reason than promoters see too much value in the 0.

My money would be on Maloney finding an excuse not to take up the option.....there has to be some spurious Euro opportunity on the horizon

Obviously it looks like price has good power, but i didnt like how mcdermott was able to out jab him at times while it lasted. For a man his size he should really be able to control the distance a bit better.

The fight lasted 76 seconds and Mcdermott spent about 28 of those on the floor.

we cant read anything at all into what happened between that

seth mitchell, let price fight a well matched opponent, hes got to stop fighting domestic opposition, its obvious even with relativley few fights he's a step above that now, let him progress rather taking what are not easy, but predictable early round knockouts

It will not be on channel 5 unless Hennessey wins purse bids.
We are about to find out how serious Channel 5 is about boxing.

We found out that Price hits hard but most of us have had that inkling for a while because when his punches land they clearly register.

Price has to stick to the domestic route for experience. He put McD away early but Fury, Rogan etc will give him tougher contests where he gets hard rounds in. Commonwealth and European will also offer him decent competition. There is no need for him to jump up in class massively.

The main thing is he progresses in each fight as he has wasted nearly 4 years.

Fury will move onto fight Helenius if he has any sense for the European title

Degale went onto fight for the Euro and now is approaching world stage after the groves loss

Chisora did the same and is fighting a Klitshcko!

Fury needs to step it up a bit, i like Price but if he wanted Fury he should have made himself more know than he has up to this point. id like to see him against Sprott for the british and commonwealth then defend against Neven Pajkic as a yard stick for fury, move onto fight him for the Euro title (if hes still holding it) then take on Chisora, Helenius, Dimitrenko etc.

Lets not rush the gun here, he only beat Mcdermott, lets see him step it up slowly for now.

    Sprott - British + Commonwealth
    Pajkic - Commonwealth
    Fury / ??? - European
    Chisora -
    Helenius -
    Dimitrenko -
    Arreola -
    Povetkin - WBA title

China Chin Fury wouldn't stand a chance against Price. Who in my eyes is the future of heavyweight boxing! Looks fit! He is very tall! The power in his right hand is scary! and he has the boxing skill of an olympic champion. Keep a close eye on this one! 2-3 Years he could be unifying this division.

i like price, but he is still a novice in the pro ranks, still somr good learning fights for him at british level.
john mc is a good boxer,if he could of been arsed he could of been a very good cruiser or light heavy, but he is just a fat lazy twat.
no way will fucy/price come off yet

Even if Fury goes on to fight Dimentriko othen Price should fight for the vacant British title.

Dimentriko has Pulev to fight though so not sure how Fury can duck Price with any tact.

Because all are a massive improvement on McDermott. For Christ sake some of you chaps are talking as if Price KO'd prime Ali himself last night.
