dude is 9-0 and a world champion - and was 7-0 if you count interim titles
he didnt go fighting bums for 25 fights first....
the guy deserves nothing but credit

It's true he does seem to lul his opponent to sleep, almost like a hypontic style.

But it works. Unfortunately it wont work on Donaire.

 

only 2 fights had gone the distance with Rigo, most of them finished with vicious body punches.Do you call this boring?
only one way to find out how he handles Donaire...get them in the ring: Rigo is ready, is Donaire ready?, Rigo isnt hidding behind his brilliant amateur resume, he is asking to fight the best out there.There is not Rigondeuax Sr around padding and protecting him,there is not Golden promoters making sure he doesnt get hurt or exposed.He just want to fight the best.Something wrong with this? There was a time when the champs fought each others,when the champs fought the first in line contenders.But most people have forgotten.

 

Rigondeaux has the physical and mental tools to dominate. Quibbling with his style is one thing. But to challenge is effectiveness is ignorance.
