Sure loss for Berto, IMO. But, aside from Cotto and Pac (who possibly will wind up fighting each other...again), he would be the next most viable opponent (should he win against Ortiz), in or around 147. Neither this or an Ortiz rematch is worth my PPV money, though.

 

Berto is shot, I hope Floyd doesn't fight him. He got his head blasted all over the ring against Ortiz, who is also shot and KTFO twice. Neither one will do any good for Mayweather. Remember if you lose a fight, you are shot that is the rule. So, I expect that rule to be followed.

Floyd would beat Berto, but if he gets past Ortiz (and I fully expect him to this time) that would be a good fight.

I say if no Pac fight, Floyd goes after Cotto.

 

Cotto would be my first choice, but if he won't go to 147 for Pac will he do so for May? Would he be required to by May? May isn't the puncher that Pac is so Cotto may not mind going to 147 for him as much as he would for Pac.

makes sense. he was looking to fight berto the first time but Ortiz pulled off the upset. this fight wont have as much hype for casual fans cuz Berto is no longer undefeated

its funny when people say berto has no fanbase...i mean its true...but its true for 90 percent of fighters who dont have the ethnicity that helps them draw a fanbase or fight regionally to accomdate said fanbase
