Khan calling Hatton out for next year.

You never know... I think Khan will be bumped off before that. Khan - Hatton is simply massive but not even worth talking about until Khan wins a title - even then it will just be wishful thinking. But FW would prob love that match if Hatton depreciates massively.

 

Not gonna happen. By the time Khan is at that level both physically and in terms of the right amount of experience, Hatton would be out of the game - either retired or beyond his best.

 

I could see Hatton coming back, kind of like how Bruno was going to with Harrison, about a year after retiring to face Khan.

Not a chance in my opinion, Khans defence isnt all that and Hatton, whilst not a massive one punch ko artist would still have far too much aggression and workrate for Khan to last past 6.

I know people still go on about the Limond knockdown but think how much harder and more often Hatton would be hitting him, i really doubt Khan would be ready for anything like that.

Anyway, the fight wont happen as Hatton will be long retired before Khan would be allowed to fight such an opponent.

 

Not in year, IMO. Too much undue pressure any fighter no matter how much potential especially after stepping up a weight class. Hatton's experience would certainly be a lot for Khan to handle. Not saying that Hatton is some sort of god at LWW who would be unbeatable for the guy in a year but it would very unlikely.

You would not have said Khan was ready to fight Earl or St Clair from 1 year ago when he beat Drizaline and Medjadi in a simular fashion to how he beat Earl and St Clair. The step up in class is a simular level. Hatton is not as good as you all think!

What the gulf in class between French Champions to Former World Title Challenger & Former World Champion is the exact same gulf between World Title Challenger & Former World Champion and Genuine Current World Champion.

Some people said that Hatton would knock Mayweather out, that made me laugh!

I got only one big fight prediction wrong last year and that was Taylor vs Pavlik! So the things i say might actually not be to stupid!

Hatton would have to last the 1st 6 rounds for this to happen. I think Khan is a slick fighter and I therefore think he could/would outbox Hatton. Obviously, Khan's chin would be a factor but Hatton is not that accurate of a puncher so he might not be able to hit him clean.

I doubt the fight will happen. Unless the money was huge the risk to Hatton just will not be worth the reward. I think Hatton is scared of losing to a Brit so would be very cautious of taking the fight unless he knew he'd win.

Also, it depends on how many more fights Hatton has left. Khan would have to win some big fights this year and early next to get into Hatton's league.

In summary, I doubt it would happen but if it did, then I think Khan would not be such a huge outsider (assuming he keeps improving this year).

 

I am a big Khan fan and rate him highly, and I am most certainyl not a Hatton fan and i do not rate him at all. But if this fight was going to hapen it would go 12 rounds. To say that Hatton would have to survive the first 6 rounds is daft, he went 10 with Mayweather, who in many peoples opinion, and mine is tp 10 p4p of all time. (i have him 3rd by the way)

 

Well its not as if Khan has an impenatrable defence is it.

Hatton destroys Khan easily, and whilst i enjoy Hattons fights and quite like the guy i am in no way a hugger who thinks he is god.

The thought of putting Khan in with Hatton is ridiculous.

 

You did not even read the news. Khan said he would fight Hatton after 18 months if he not retired.
