Why does Bhop diss Jermain Taylor & Kelly Pavlik so much?

Nobody who's fought Hopkins twice has been the same, it's weird.

 

He does have a very strong case for both men. He is so crafty and makes it almost impossible to hit him cleanly. Hops takes your confidence away. He was truly the best defensive fighter of this generation and in my opinion ranks very high all time...

 

Didn't Taylor go on to have like 4 defenses after he beat Hopkins twice?

 

Did you see any of those defences?

Three successful defenses against naturally smaller guys and he stunk it up in all three before getting knocked the **** out by Pavlik.

 

Roy Jones got even better after he beat Hopkins until some other dude k him tfo.

 

The funny thing is Hopkins said he would help Kelly Out!That Kelly is a good Young fighter and would be willing to train with him!

 

Hopkins won't train him or help him out.

Bernard was asked if he'd like to train fighters someday and he said he'd had the conversation with Nazim Richardson, and they'd agreed that Hopkins would end up expecting everyone to live his way, bed at 9 every night, no alcohol or fat food ever etc, and it's not feesable.

Hopkins has been one of a kind, the greatest example of dedication in this sports history IMO.

 

I remember that, when he told Kelly that he is a great fighter but needs to learn how to fight slick African American fighters after their fight. Kelly seemed to lose some confidence after the B Hop fight but the booze appears to be the biggest reason for his problems rather than what B Hop did to him. Unless of course losing made him drink a lot more, but it sounds like he's been boozing hard for a while.

 

He is 0-2 against Taylor. If anything Pavlik ended Taylor's career.
